NZ Day 10 – Monday 26th September

This jet lag/time zone difference is a funny thing.  While not early to bed last night I wasn’t that late but boy did I feel tired this morning even walking along the waterfront.  It was also cold, perhaps the coldest I have felt it since arriving.  Even with the sun shining there is a nip in the air.  It must be a southerly wind straight up from Antartica! Still I met some Scots supporters who only arrived Friday, lost an hours sleep Saturday night (daylight saving), didn’t get to bed until 6.00 am last night and had to be out of their hotel room by 10.00am!  They were certainly looking a bit dazed but then again perhaps it wasn’t all down to jet lag!

A couple of chance encounters this afternoon, or was that God encounters!  It certainly helps me to feel a little bit more useful.  Let’s see what transpires with the rest of the day.
